No ablation...my UCLA cardio is not concerned, he took the time to listen to me and analyze the test results, echo's, EKG, treadmill, king of hearts..I have PAC's and on instance of <20 beats of  AFIB.  And he is a GREAT Cardio guy.

I can totally relate to your symptoms. Did u have ablation? It's weird how the anxiety plays a
role here. I never knew what anxiety was until
I had my first bad svt attack. Then I had anxiety! Crud!!
And that lead to my being misdiagnosed as panic attacks. . I NOW know the difference. I have both now. Yoga class really helps with anxiety and stress.
I am putting my hopes in ablation as life is very difficult for me to live with this. It can cause depression and make me want to hermit. I did not go to my sons basketball game yesterday cause I'm afraid "its going to happen"

I've been diagnosed with PVC's, PAC's, and tachycardia...although one doc says SVT is 180 BPM or higher and I have been monitored at that during my sleep. Evenings and nights are much worse for me than mornings and daytime. The hot flashed are the worst...feels like I will faint, but like you, never have. Almost feels out-of-body for a moment. I described it once as what I thought an aura may feel like.. like maybe I was fixing to have a seizure, but never went out.

From what I understand the younger you are when you have an ablation the more likely it will come back because your body is still maturing.  That said, a second ablation generally does the trick.  Have you been back to the cardiologist about the return of your symptoms?  It seems though it might be warranted.  Take care.

I am unclear whether the svt is afib or another type of svt.  Were you offered an ablation?  How often do you feel the racing heart?  Does it start and stop suddenly?  If the svt was afib and you only get super short runs of it then an ablation might not be worth the risk to fix but if you have a run of the mill svt those are fairly easy to fix with ablation but you do need to have them often enough for the EP cardiologist to be able to induce an episode in order to know where to ablate.  As for the pvcs and pacs there isn't much that can be done for them except going on beta blockers.  The best advice I can give is to get your stomach checked out if you think there are any possible stomach troubles.  My pvcs act up a lot when my stomach is upset.  Also, do whatever you can to reduce stress in your life.  Stress is a big trigger for the pvcs/pacs so the more you can manage your stress the better you will feel.  Take care and take a look around the site. There are a lot of other people who are in the same boat as you.  We are told we have a structurally normal heart and everything is fine but we don't feel fine.  You are not alone.  Take care and I hope you feel better soon.

heart skips then pauses..... sensation of not being able to breath, sometimes sweating, flush feeling in chest feeling like I will pass out, never have though. It feels like the wind is knocked out me or a drowing sensation, panic feeling. Bending over or excitability sometimes triggers it or just living triggers. Sometimes it last seconds to hours.

Tests had

holter: Noted PACs & PVC's & SVTs not alot of either couple tripets bigimies.

echo's- normal

2 cardio Dr's UCLA and local

diagnosis nothing to worry about...frustrating any comments would be appreciated...thanks

I get those same symtoms. Mine has been going on for 18 years. They tell me the same...no worries...had all the tests, still have the symptoms and my quality of life has diminished greatly due to the symptoms. I too take 12.5 mg of atenolol. I will just be sitting, watching tv after work, and it's usually an hour or two after I eat, and I feel like I can't catch my breath and I have the feeling of my heart racing....it will not be, but it feels like it's just racing away. I no longer believe I am dealing with panic and anxiety, I now believe I am dealing with side effects of my heart palps along with my body reacting to adrenaline. The doctors may be right, I may not have a "heart problem," but something is definitely affecting it's rythym. Wish I could advise, but I'm at a loss...but you are not alone. Hoping we we figure this out and start feelling better.
