fast HR

In the morning while getting ready for college heart rate goes to 140 even when I am not getting ready in a hurry. Is that normal or not.

I'm just kidding. I wrote this to bump this post up, but the comment was just meant as a joke. I know I answer all your posts and I encourage others to answer too ;)

That's not up to me to decide ;)

Did you have this while doing the Holter test by the way?

I would say, unless you faint or you feel seriously unwell, why should you use medications? I suspect this is something you make up a little in your mind, which significantly worsen it. I assume it happens when you stand up.

Should medication be taken for this because my skipped beats get worse by beta blockers

Yes, in the morning your heart rate can race a bit, it's most often and most likely caused by your dehydration during the night, and your somewhat low blood pressure.

A little stress can make it worse. When you have little body fluids, the only way your body can (try to) increase the blood pressure is to increase the heart rate!

Before I started taking beta blockers, my HR was always really high on the way to the shower.
