The anxiety is my most debilitating symptom...then when I have a bad day, I start thinking about them and can not think about anything else which is not good. Have you had a 30 day monitor or a 24 hr one? When you have the implanted monitor, do you still have to capture the arrhythmia yourself or will it automatically capture an episode? How long will you have this device?
When I have had the episodes which go on for hours, after awhile I do take a BB, in my case it is metoprolol (50mg) and those have always stopped the PVC's after about 45 min to an hour. I don't have to wait so long before taking it but I hate to take anything and always hoping that they will stop as suddenly as they started. These things are sure a lot of bother but things could be worse! I never forget that and try to just take one day at a time.
Good luck w/your procedure tom and let us know what you find out!
Yes, I have them for hours. They really drive me nuts, plus they make my anxiety hit the roof.. I get very symptomatic with them also. I do have a BB to take, but that doesnt help much. Do you have symptoms with yours? I'm going tom. morning to have a monitor implanted so they can see exactly what is going on.....But I do know they are very hard to handle at times.

I get the same thing...bigeminy and trygeminy! I hate them all, esp when they last for hours on end. Do you have them for hours?
Hello,
Bigeminy is a pvc every other beat. I think trigeminy is every 2 beats then a pvc. I know how you feel :( I get those crazy beats to. They drive me insane also.... I have weeks when they are nonstop, then they disapear for a few days, then right back at it...Its very upsetting! Have you had a monitor on to record those beats?
Take Care
