Oh yes, hormonal changes like those during your period can definitely cause more PVC's, I don't have to have a calender, almost 10 days to the day before I start, they will kick in. I have started using a natural progesterone cream and this has helped a lot. It is called "fem-gest" and it is wonderful, plus, it helps so many other things like arthritis pain, moodiness, you name it. It is bio-identical, meaning it is identical to the progesterone your body makes, not synthetic which can cause palps and other problems.
Our Lord has given us some many natural things that can help, it is up to us to find them whether it be via forums like this, other doctors, or other folks.
Hi ashton. I'm female and also get an increase in palpataions around and during my cycle. I've had a couple doctors tell me that, 'it's just the way I'm wired up'.
When I asked my cardiologist if its possible that my cycle had anything to do with it, he barked at me saying he did not believe the mentrual cycle had anything to do with palpatations whatsoever. But then he went on to add, while scratching his head, that its strange in that he notices most of his female patients are complaining about the same thing happening around and during their cycles.
From my point of view and experience, yes, the palpatations tend to be more bothersome around that time for me as well as other factors that can play in from time to time.
I also agree with what Jerry commented to you in his post. Jerry seems to be very in tuned and I enjoy reading his comments as I've found them to be very helpful many times for me.
Some people have reported good results with certain prescription medication / natural supplementation / certain procedures / diet / exercise / relaxation techniques etc and some have not. Eveyone's a unique individual and desires to find what will work best for them. In my case, I've found prayer brings me much comfort, peace and relief.
Blessings and Pleasant thoughts to you.
As I'm a male I was waiting for an input from a female member... as none have yet resulted I'll offer a possibility.
Emotional stress can cause rhythm problems, and it may be that your cycle causes more stress in you than is typical.
I hope if this community has some female members who have similar experience they will make a post here.
