I also get palpitations when I sit in front of the computer. Will get my vision fade as well.
I have 2 stress tests. Both time the doctor just stood beside me and watching the ECG machine. The technicians and nurses were stand at the other side. The doctor was going to detemine when to stop the exercise.
When I felt the episode of 4 beats I was at the stove cooking. But I had just been through a stressful few days with my son being sick. Of course now I have the flu bug he had. I had a fever of 102 and could not do the nuclear stress test today...i will have to wait until next Thursday. My cardio did say that my echo was normal. Let me know what your EP says.

Hi, I commented on your last post that I felt those also. I forgot to ask you, when you felt them, what were you doing? 3 out of 5 of mine were at the computer. I think maybe it has something to do with the electrical waves. I know this sound weird, but I'm still nervous about staying near the computer for more than a couple minutes at a time, which sucks because I have a LOT of work to do on the silly thing.
I''m going to ask my EP about them also and see what he says. I'll let you know.

I have nsvt, but not as often as I used to have it. I did have two ablaitons in 2003, but that was because I have mitral valve regurgitation and developed cardiomyopathy. Prior to the cardiomyopathy, I'd had plenty of nsvt and it was not a problem (other than it felt lousy). If you have a structurally normal heart and the nsvt does not cause you bothersome symptoms, I don't think it will be a problem. The doctor may try a beta blocker or if you can handle the symptoms, you may be told to go about your normal routine.
I've have lots of stress tests and stress echos and there are people right in the room watching everything very closely. With as much arrythmia as I used to have, I never had a problem with the tests. I think you will be in good hands for the test.

I am a 30 F and I have NSVT. It was caught on holter (3 beats) when I went in for the first time to a cardio complaining of palps. The holter also showed PVCs--about 150 in 24 hours.
Anyhow, the NSVT really freaked the cardio out and he sent me to a rhythm specialist. I got an echo and they recommended an echo stress test but I refused to do it. So my resting echo was normal.
Anyhow, that was a year ago when the NSVT was recorded on holter. Since then, I have felt approximately 6-7 episodes of NSVT, about 3 to 4 beats each time total in one year. So basically once every 2 months or so. One time, though, I had a run of about 9 NSVT, but I knew what it was so I didn't freak out too much about it.
A few weeks ago I had a flare up of PVCs, in which I experienced bigimeny and a bunch of runs of NSVT, about 3 beats each run. It scared me, so I scheduled an ASAP appointment with my cardio and my exam and ekg were normal. These flare ups happen from time to time, he said, though that was my first one in 1 year of having palps.
Anyhow, I was treated as if the NSVT was an exotic, rare thing and my cardios did seem very concerned, but I'm not concerned. If you do a lot of reading about it it really doesn't signfiy anything bad in the setting of a structurally normal heart.
