a very merry xmas and a happy new year, thankyou very much for the best xmas present,(your comments).rixsta.
oh no, sorry don't feel like that - even with malignant arrhythmia's I'm treated like a peon who's wasting my dr's time...even after suffering through 50,000 pvc's I was still treated like that by my last cardiologist, which is why with my new insurance I'm looking for a new one.
I never sought help and didn't go to the dr or ER, just dealt with the things until they were so severe they damaged my heart muscle.
After my ablation in August 2009, I was pvc free for a bit almost 2 full days, then they were intermittent for 2 full weeks. I developed PAC's and PSVT after surgery....grrr these dreaded things won't leave me alone. Within a few months time, pvc's returned full force and my last holter was Dec 2009 I was at 10,000 + daily.
an easier explanation may be this - pvc's and arrhythmia's are electrical problems while a heart attack is more of a plumbing problem =)
yes, this site is a becon of light for us,i feel ive learnt so much much in so little time.when my palps started i went from doctor to nothing. until i came across this site.i hope they dont get you down too much,i think worrying can enhance the situation ,but like everyones a little different right?...take care bro.
thanks lisa, after reading your comment,....( i feel as small as an ant right now) so how long has it been since your last one.you said untill august 2009 have you been totaly free.
I'm one of the ones who've had them most of my life...first started at age 9 along with fainting; VT runs...pvc's pac's; the fluttering in my throat, dizziness, pounding aching chest even with exertion then it will go away and come back with a vengenace until one day it stayed from April 27, 2007 until August 2009.
If pvc's, pac's flutterings are heart attacks then someone explained this wrong. Think of most of them like hiccups of the heart then they won't be as scary feeling. I have malignant heart arrhythmia's found on during my EPS and I still think of them this way =)
95-99% of all arrhythmia's are benign and harmless even if they do make us feel otherwise
I am suffering from PVC/PAC's and I get really worried at times but this website has really helped me.
your exactly right, its like a rollercoaster ride at the momment and this rides feulled on emotion, im hoping ill awake the next morning and its gone ,but with all the storys ive read in this forum.i wont hold my breath just yet.how you going brother.
Dont worry because that makes the condition worse. I am the sort of person who gets worried on little things and I have palps almost all day
mates, i dont know what to say,i cant imagine having them all my life,im such a noob at this ,its such a debillitating feelling, now that they seem regular,i feel like screaming why me. oh i forgot, im a human. thanks for your comments guys.
mate,i swear this has been the worst year of health for me,and then my mum tells me that....i hate these palps,im new at this , and am truly bewildered, but discovering im not alone and not as severe as others.do they go away or is everyone different.thanks for your replys it made me feel a lot better.
A heart attack is so different from the little electrical blips our hearts have at times. I've had them all my life (I'm 58 how) and I'm doing just fine.
I have palps a lot. My mom, who had them at times from the age of thirteen on, lived to be almost ninety. (Don't worry.)
