See that could be a palpitations, but if your pulse is slow enough it could just be your breath. Either way if you're been checked out by a cardiologist and they say you are fine than you are. Everyone gets palpitations. Some people get 5 per day, but feel every single one, while others get 10,000 but don't feel any of them.
If you're still uncomfortable just got back to your cardiologist and ask more questions. But since you had an echo come back normal there isn't much else to do. Possibly a stress test. Either way if your heart shape is normal than there is absolutely nothing to worry about. Only when someone has some fairly bad cardiomyopathy do palpitations become dangerous.

You have had your specific symptom checked by a doctor, as I read you information.  If there are no other symptoms that interfere with (or lower) you quality of life, I'd say put the heart rhythm out of your mind.  If you are not checking you pulse you are unaware of your pulse, quit checking your pulse.

Many have PVC issues and they can be felt in many ways and these are not considered dangerous or life threatening in any way - other than maybe being a distraction from something the person needs to focus on, say drive a car.

Sadly we don't have a medical fix for many heart issues, fortunately many of them are harmless if the person puts them out of the mind and gets on with living.

I couldn't answer that as I'm not a doctor, but I'm not sure what you're describing is skipped beats.

Well your doctor is right. As you breath in an out your heart rate increase or decreases, and if you're heart rate is slow enough you can really feel the effect of this.
Also palpitations aren't exactly your heart "stopping". They are an extra beat fallowed by a short pause, than back to normal rhythm. They are nothing to worry about. Everyone get them, and since you've been evaluated by a cardiologist and been told you're fine you have nothing to worry about.
