strange quivering sensation in heart

so i was lying down watching tv and all of sudden my heart fluttered. kind of a quivering sensation.i did not get dizzy with it or out of breth. it only lasted a second or two. i have had what feels like your heart adds in an extra beat or skips one, this was different. 2 weeks ago i had a stress echo, tilt table, tons of blood work, chest xray and holter monitor. All was good. Has anyone else had what i described and should i be concerned?

Skipped heart beats, or extra or double... heart beats are common if they occur only occasionally.

Given you have been checked out by a doctor, I'd say you need not be concerned.  If the symptoms become troubling talk to your doctor about taking some medication to gain some reduction in symptoms.  Best, I think, is to learn to live with them without taking any medications.

Do try to see if there is any pattern, such as diet (eat/drink), or emotional stress, or sleep problems that relate to the palpatations.  If you can make a connection, try to stop whatever it is that is causing the palps.

Good luck,
