weird

I'm 23 no family history of heart issues. No heart issues at all. But 2 days ago I was waiting to get my haircut and I ate 2 spicy Jamaican beef patties. About 10 minutes later I felt off. So I went outside for fresh air went and used the bathroom #1&2. Then I forced myself to puke thinking it would help me. And I realized my heart was beating really fast and this never happened to me before. So after about an hour I went to urgent care and they told me my heart rate was high and sent me to the Er. They did an EKG and bloodWork said everything was normal. But they wanted to keep me overnight hooked up to a monitor to observe and had me connected to an IV with salene I think. Then they ran 2 more blood tests throughout the night and said it came back fine. Lastly they did an ultrasound of the heart in the morning and the doctor said I was fine. I told him when I stood up my heart rate went up to like 120 and that I felt like I had heartburn and was lightheaded and I just felt off. He said maybe something that was in the food is causing this. Because everything with my heart seems to be normal. But today I feel the same my resting heart rate keeps fluctuating from the 70s to 90s and when I get up it goes way higher.  I do feel a little light headed my hands are cold sometimes and I got that indesgestion/heartburn feeling a little. I just want to know if anyone has any insight because it's starting to worry me. I've never had any issue like this in my life. And I don't know what to do. He told me if I feel the same Monday to come back and we'll take it from there. Any thoughts?

It your heart doesn't settle down,  I think the best thing to do is get a referral to an Electrophysiologist so that he can help you figure out if you have an arrhythmia issue.  That usually means Holter monitoring for a month.  It is easy to do and doesn't interfere with activities.

Is arrythmia life threatening and it can happen out of nowhere? Is it possible that these symptoms will just subside I just feel discomfort in general like not myself and all those other things I mentioned before
Arrhythmia for young people are usually upper chamber or SVT.  It is not acutely dangerous unless it degenerates into lower chamber VT.  Beta blockers will be an option but they lose effectiveness over time.  Ablation is a good choice if you can find an experienced center that offers it then you won't have to mess with medications.

Depends what type of arithmia. As far as if it can be fatal or not. Yes they can happen out of nowhere. I have SVT, which is a type of arithmia. I can go a year or more with no symptoms, and the bam out of nowhere, heart rate hits 190's and i get classic symptoms of a heart attack, without actually having one. My cardiologists has put me through the ringer as far as tests go. And my heart is very healthy there's no disease everything comes back normal. So that's a good thing. Just really need to get checked out you never know what type of arrhythmia you have. If you have one at all until you go get it looked at. Like nowadays I take a beta blocker and that pretty much prevents those bad things from happening.
