Hi,

If I had Hep. A Vaccination when I was a kid, Do I need to have it again as an Adult?

Thanks for your reply, I did that at the clinic they did a blood test to see if I needed one.....will have to wait for results tmr.

I dont think you will have to. They would have warned you that you will need another. If you had both the recommanded doses within 6-12 months of eachother then you should be safe as they as this is supposed to protect you long term.
I know its hard but it would help even if you remembered which vaccine you got you would be able to know, as one injects a form of the virus into the body so it creates anti-bodies to recognise and fight the virus. That one is definately life protecting.
If your worried go to your local GP and have a chat, they will know and they worst that will happen is that they will recommand another course of doses which have no real side effects and you barely feel them.
