Hbsag Quant. Test question

I found a place in UK to send my blood to for the hbsag test. They received my sample in cold packaging in less than 2 days, however they didn't perform the test until 16 days later. Finally after 2 months i got my test result and it's
27782 IU/ml. Is it normal to have the blood sitting for over 2 weeks before testing? Is my result even accurate?
For those of you getting it done in Europe how long does it take for the test results? Thank you!

In Greece it takes 18h top to send blood, results take 2 weeks (10 working days)

it usually takes less then two weeks cuz its sent to Germany

Synlab milan blood draw around 10am result from central lab in brescia online at 1pm or sometimes next morning,the test is easy very easy,its all machine made so the lab where you got result is extremely negligent,they dont like working

Hbsag is said to be very stable refrigerated
