maybe you should ask what are the condition for participate in another country.

I emailed the POC for this trials and in his reply, he mentioned that Philippines is not included. Thanks for the link.

Per Stef2011's suggestions, in order for higher chances of hbsag clearance, we should only do combo therapy after we have hbvdna undetectable AND hbSag is below 1500 iu/ml.

So who should participate in this clinical trial to get the best response for TDF + INF combo?

1 - Treatment Arm 1

Subjects will be treated with TDF and PEG concomitantly for 48 weeks.

2.Treatment arm 2

Subjects will be treated with TDF and PEG concomitantly for 16 weeks followed by TDF alone for another 32 weeks (total 48 weeks).

3. Control Arm 1

Subjects will be treated with TDF continuously through 120 weeks.

4. Control Arm 2

Subjects will be treated with PEG for 48 weeks.
