Sex before the vaccine

I am a Hepatitis B patient.  I'm dating someone and I want him to be vaccinated for Hep B
Is it safe for us to have sex after the first shot of the vaccine or it's necessary to wait 6 months for all three shots?

You did unprotected or protected sex before ?
Anyway she should test her level of HBsAb (antibodies) because maybe she's already immune after passed accute infection.

I was recently tested positive to the hepatitis b virus and my wedding is just two weeks around the corner. i was told to tell me fiancee which I did and was advice to go for her test which she did and she was negative to hepatitis. she was told to go for the vaccine my questions are if we can start having unprotected sex after our wedding because that's what we have doing since we meet and that was actually what save her from being infected by me and second question must she complete the three vaccination phases? And pls how can i or where will I get the drugs cheaper here in Nigeria. thanks

Just remember a vaccine is basically putting a small amount of Hep B virus into your body and letting your body immune system trying to kill that Hep B virus.

Your partner might already have antibodies against HBV so I think its best for him to do STD test first to confirm.

It's not safe until he has developed antibodies for hep b...so he would have to get a test to confirm.  some people develop antibodies after the first shot, some not even after the last shot.
