What are the average costs of medication?

I know the most common ones are viread (tenofovir) or injections like peginterferon.
Also once you start tablet medication is it for life or around how many years?
And i understand that injections such as peginterferon are usually for an year..after one year if it is suppressed then can you stop all medication or are you put on any other medication?
If you are under any other medication then can i know what, for how long (is it for life?) and the average cost per month.
Finally, if you were ever put on any medication do we have any examples here of anyone who used to take any of these medication but now dont take anything at all?
