and another question, can the pharmas also create vaccine against the mutant strains? or they're so rare that making vaccine for these mutants are not cost-effective?

so if an HBV-naive adult becomes infected with a lamivudine mutant and recovers, will he still get infected with the "original" versions of HBV?

regarding prophylaxis stefano, if one is tested and is negative for HBSAG in at least 3 occasions and weeks apart for each test and injected with a recombinant HBV vaccine, will that be a good sign?

"As early as 6 weeks that HBSAG can be detected in the blood"

so if HBSAG still not detected one can still do a prophylaxis?

And another question

If a healthy adult gets exposed to one of the "mutant strains" of HBV, like those which lamivudine created, will he still be able to clear it in 90-95% of the time?
