Your HBsAg w/Titer is REACTIVE (Positive).

Hepatitis B surface antigen
(HBsAg):  A positive or "REACTIVE"  test means that you have hepatitis B virus in your blood and can pass the virus to others. You could be recently infected or you could have chronic (life-long) infection. A negative test means that you do not have the virus in your blood.

hi..i'd like to ask for your help to interpret my hepa b profile..

HBsAg w/Titer (ECLIA)   2040.000        C.O.V. 1.000             REACTIVE
Anti HBs (ECLIA)           2.000 IU/L      C.O.V 10.000           NON-REACTIVE
HBeAG (ECLIA)             0.968             C.O.V 1.000            GRAYZONE
Anti HBe (ECLIA)           0.308             C.O.V 1.000            REACTIVE
Anti HBc IgM (ECLIA)      0.068             C.O.V  1.000           NON-REACTIVE
Anti HBc IgG (ECLIA)     0.008             C.O.V  1.000            REACTIVE

yung first screening ko ung HBsAg was 1768.000 C.O.V 1.000...does it mean po ba na lumalala ung virus/infection? tnx in advance

Di ako sure kong Chronic or Acute stage yung Hepatitis B mo kasi.

you need to check hbvdna quantity (most important, tells you how much virus in the blood), alt/ast and liver blood tests, fibroscan (tells you about liver damage)

hbsag positive just tells you the virus is present but it doesn't say anything about liver damage and active or inactive disease
