hepatitis b

i had hepatitis b 40 years ago , no symptoms today or since then.  my question is i have to get 3 shots for hepatitis for my new job. what do i do without giving my history away and lose my job.  do i get the shots ? does it matter? wil my passed show up?

why did they want you to be vaccinated? Does your job put others at risk? Or do they want you to travel to high-risk areas?

hey what did u mean? ur new job requested u to take 3 shots and.. i think they'll retest again.

if u have the virus, yes 3 shots will do nothing, and u'll get no sickness, u can take them, the only thing is there won't be anitHBs.

u've got the virus long time ago, probably ur immune system cleared the virus, and probably u have antibodies, u should take tests and consult specialist regularly(usually 6monthly).

If you have HBV, 3 shots will do nothing.

40 years ago, that was a long time.  Maybe you can test privately to see where you stand.  At least you will be in a better position to take of your liver.
