can someone help me understand please?

I have recently been diagnosed as hepititis B positive
here is my blood screen results :
HEPATITIS "B" PROFILE
HBsAg POSITIVE
Anti-HBs <10 mIU/ml
Anti-HBc (IgG/IgM) POSITIVE
Anti-HBc (IgM) Negative
Method used for Anti-HBc(IgM) :Architect CMIA
HBeAg Negative
Anti-HBe POSITIVE
Current Hepatitis B infection

The doctor said it was a recent infection and that i would me years to get rid of it .
however it seems that my body has reacted to the infection and created the anti-hbe. is it a good sign ?
my second question is how can it be possible to have a recent infection with a IgM negative?? from what i know a positive IgM= recent infection ...
what does anti-hbs <10 mlU means?
I also had my liver fonction tested and it seems that my liver is fine ..
any chance that my heptitis b is not chronic?
if it is chronic any chance that i clear the virus one day?
also my HIV, hep c,syphilis and chlamedya came negative , so my doctor said it was a good thing as my immune system had less infections to deal with.
please help me understand .
Thanks
