insomnia by hepatitis?

I have chronic hepatitis b and I'm not on any medication but as of lately, everytime I try to sleep my body temperature would rise and it's been keeping me awake (not to mention I have tinnitus in one ear making it a nightmare also). Is this related to the virus doing something weird?

I've had an ultrasound screening of my abdominal area 2 months ago and I was fine. I've had tinnitus before I've even known that I had hepatitis b. My worry is that the sound of the ringing has increased and has caused the insomnia I'm experiencing from when my tinnitus first started. I couldn't sleep for about 6 days w/o some sort of drug (i.e Unisom) when I first got tinnitus and the symptoms are reoccurring now again. I did several test with my ENT except for the Meniere's disease since I was not experiencing any of those symptoms. But precursor to my tinnitus, I've had tonsil stones and still have it, could it be related?

Tinnitus should have nothing to do with HepB.
But temperature rise could.

Go have some check, AFP (possibility of liver cancer), HBV-DNA (reactive)

Well... I've had this whining sound since several years. I'm mostly used to it now. I suppose you too will get used to it -- maybe depending on what yours sounds like. I now find it difficult to even imagine absolute silence.

But!!! Tinnitus can also be a sign of something going wrong somewhere! Especially if it started recently. An ear infection? Nerve damage? Side-effects of medication? In any case, I recommend that you visit an ENT doc and get it checked to rule out serious issues.

HepB and tinnitus? Interesting thought. I have tinnitus too, in both ears. But no, there is no evidence at the moment that links any of your symptoms to HepB
