With a medical prescription and they have to order it as they don't have it in the store, at least where I asked .
I asked today, so tdf in UK is 100 £
yes do. That vaccine may work. It is a chance.
I just read on clinicaltrials.gov that gilead will recruit in my city for the GS 4774 . One of my doctors is in the hospital mentioned there. Should i ask him to participate ?
pegintf is way the most expensive treatment so you should try both romania and uk to get it, while nucs are much less expensive so you can pay them from your pocket
nucs like tdf can be easily bought on online pharmacies and the price of generics is low
Personally I think you have more chance of winning the lottery than getting in on a Replicor trial because I Seattledude was saying that after his interactions with Replicor they have no desire of bringing REP9AC' to market even though it sounds amazing!
Gilead are the dominant force at the moment in terms of Hepatitis & I certainly don't believe they are snow white and the 7 dwarfs!! However it might be a necessary evil to deal with... Their track records shows they have cure Hep C working out what they can do for Hep B. But very clear they will do whatever benefits their company the best....
I havent done any treatment yet.which one is better, replicor or gilead ?
from what I understand Germany for Replicor, Gileads GS4774 for Romania plus I think part of that trial criteria is to have not done any antivirals prior!
In romania i can get entecavir for free, so probably if i need treatment this is where i will go. Also, i will check about that trials i heard are starting in europe, romania from replicor if i heard right.
You can get prescribed PEG INT in the UK providing you are geno type A & are an active carrier.
Having said that the general first line defense is TDF but you have absolutely no hope of sequential treatment.
So theoretically you could get the NUCs free in UK & then go to another country for the PEG add on!
They want us all dead and off the budgets. : )
on of the worst among western europe countries
germany, italy (north only) and france the best
Not us. United kingdom . I may move here and i wanted to know if the healthcare system is better .
Heaving sad that do to globalization hbv treatment will be the same more or less everywhere. Look at who controls HBV research now. The big drug companies. So naturally new doctors that are getting out of medical school will think like computer software. All alike. Because that is what they were taught. HbV is treated with NUCs and nothing else. Life time treatment end of story .. .
In Eastern Europe Mexico Thailand where there are less regulations and more real doctors sure they can at least try to do better.
There are a lot if things available now that can help clear HBV faster. Ozonating blood is very good and plasmafarez to.remove toxins and to stimulate the immune system. Together with interferon and alinia for example that can produce good results.
Can you do this in Western countries? Probably not unless you are very rich and get treated in private clinics.that operate outside of FDA and all that other nonsense that prevents curing people.
Because they want more people sick to keep forever on drugs that only control the disease. .
Well from as US perspective I can say here HBV is treated very very poorly. Doctors are morons for the most part.
Former Soviet block Eastern Europe was much better before at treating HBV. In fact in Ukraine they were doing stem cell liver repair and HBv treatment with interferon. Zadaxin. Ozone and high dose vitamin C. There in Donetzk region. Where there is now war.
A lot of less regulations and sometimes none that allows a doctor being a doctor. So a good one will try to be one. A specialist.
In America with all the available technology I found from experience doctors dont think. Dont care. They just prescribe what is standard. And in the process people stop thinking. Symptom = pill that was approved and that is it.
As for clinical trials the way they set up they are totally controlled by big pharma.
As far as Europe goes I was told Germany really treats hep B well.
Really when you think of it they made HBV more complex then before. Before it was interferon sometimes repeated.courses and people were cured. Now all these HIV BIG pharma pushed chemotherapy and disease is incurable. :)
SO I guess in Romania if they still have older trained doctors they can hep you better and for much less money.
