So let down with you on relapse. So grateful for all of your past & present posts. I haven't posted since August... getting ducks in a row, so to speak. Thanks to God, you, Nan & all, had to face reality!!
I will begin tx Nov. or if Q80K is + then Jan with new protocol. I will journey with you. Nan, bless you & thank you...sorry about relapse & holding him in prayer.  I BELIEVE, that we will all do new tx & be blessed with SVR. I'm asking God for that, for us all. Have seen so much of the hand of God everywhere, especially last few months! I know He cares, way more than we know. You are in my daily prayers. Lynn- Thanks for displaying your courage out loud. Same to all. See you here :) God bless you!

Atta girl!!!  Now, pet and pamper yourself, remind yourself that you did all that you could, that this is a medical adventure and not only are we warriors, but trailblazers!  And, generally, get ready for the next round!

Keep on keeping on.  We walk with you.  Hugs. Pat

I called my doctors office and now have an appointment for November 3 to see about getting everything going for Sovaldi Ledipasvir,

Hopefully it will be approved and getting into the system by then.

On to round 5 in the match.

Knock out is predicted in the 5th, this Dragon is going down!

Thanks again to all and thank you Jack for your very kind words.

You are probable right about the number of relapses being related to how ill so many of us are here, kinda skews the results a bit.

Just hoping all of us win this fight and can move on to better things than thinking about this darn virus.

I have a call into my doctors office asking where do we go from here...

Wow Lynn, all these comments not only show how disappointed we all are in your relapse but I think they also indicate what a special person you are in the eyes of everyone here. So sorry to hear this.

Maybe there seem to be more relapses here because more of us have cirrhosis. Who knows. It just *****. Regardless, the newest is right around the corner. Take care.

Oh Lynn, I am so sorry to hear the treatment failed you.  It just plan stinks. It's such a tough bit of news to take.  I remember that feeling after the Victrelis combo failed me.  Like Susan400 said, allow yourself to grieve... Because it is a huge loss at the end of a journey.  I suspect that after you grieve, you will find your courage and strength and come back fighting hard.

I am only 4 1/2 weeks post tx, so I still have awhile to wait for my news.
Sending you healing energy, peace in your spirit and a bright shiny new suit of dragon armour.

I am having a bowl of cereal in support of you tonight.  Cuz that's what we warriors do.

Hi Nan

Guess it's your husband and me and a few others here up a creek without a paddle for the moment. Nothing else to do but wait for the next greatest thing. So we wait and hope again that tomorrow will be a better day.

Thanks to everyone for their kindness. It always helps to get a hug from friends  ;-)

Lynn,

I am so, so, sorry.  I hate to say it, but I know how you're feeling.  I really do.  I've had that punched in the gut, let down, disappointed feeling, so many times and my heart just breaks for you.  Please keep on looking to the future great new developments that are coming up with Hep C treatments.  That's really all we can do, when the treatment we're given fails us.., we aren't treatment failures.., those da*n drugs are the failure to us.  That's what I have to do,....,'say, it's the drugs fault, nothing I did wrong, because I did exactly what I was supposed to..''  I say things like that and in a weird way, it helps me to cope.  I also have my private like meltdown and a good cry, because it helps me to deal with it and regroup and most on.  If I stuff it and act like it's no big deal, when I really feel heartbroken..., it just makes me feel even more grumpy with every one.  So, I grieve it and give myself the permission to have a pity party and then, I pick myself up and go on again.  I am not trying to make this be all about me, because it isn't.  It's about you, my friend and your disappointment and once again, I am SO, SO, very sorry.  Susan400

Oh geezzzz Lynn....it goes without saying how disappointed I am for you. As you well know, I'm only a few days behind you in tx. Today should be the earliest that I'll find out my results so I feel your pain down to my toes with your news. And Nan's hubby too? Oh good gracious!

Needless to say I have, and I'm sure you have too...been looking closely at what is coming in the near future. Even just thinking about having to 'get back in the saddle again' is tiresome to say the least. But we'll do what we have to do and in our case be grateful that there are options...not so long ago, relapsers didn't have any options to look forward too. Sending you...Nan and her hubby...hugs and strength for the next chapter. X
