Sovaldi and ribs can cause fatigue . Some days more than others . I also take them along with Pegasus . It is a daily factor , get lots of rest drink lots of water . Plan your activities around your energy level . Good luck
Hello Red...yep I have cravings as well and have gained 3 lbs since SOT. I can't seem to get enuf carbs which is a no-no for me as I'm seeing my glucose rising. On the flip side I have been craving raw cauliflower and snap peas as well, go figure! I had the RIBA rage for the first four weeks along with shortness of breath, dizziness all connected to low hemo. As soon as they reduced my rib I was so much better and no more what I call the "Godzilla" effect...smooth sailing for now. As Buba says keep hydrated and do plan to rest during the day ur body is going to thank u.
Take care and keep the faith

Welcome back. I am on sov/riba also. Just completed week 8. Haven't had sweets cravings. Pre tx I was eating a lot of salads (summer diet) yet since starting tx I am eating more of my winter diet (comfort foods) like squash, beets, whole wheat bread, pasta and so on. Periodically I will get a little winded but it does not become an issue. Some days I feel I need a short 20-30 minute afternoon nap. I give that to myself and find it does not disturb my nights sleep. Over all I am pleased to say I have had a lot more good days than bad. I am treatment naive, so I have nothing to compare this with. Riba rage has reared its head a couple of times. Have consciously attempted to keep myself in check. Overall all I am thrilled with the treatment outcome so far.
So nice to hear you are having an easy time with the Tx. Sure is an improvement from the old poison. You're lucky you got to miss that fun lol. I am so grateful for the easy time I have been having with this combo tx, only had one adjustment with the rib and it's back to slaying the dragon....he's going to lose this battle. I'm a couple wks behind you in treatment. Are you in for 12 or 24? Good luck and continued smooth sailing to you. What was ur first lab results.
Keep the Faith

I have 8 days to go on combo of Reb a Sol...at one month in my viral load went from ten million to 34, won't know the final count for a couple of weeks. My chief side effect is hunger and anxiety. Naps take care of fatigue. This is my fourth try at treatment and I am 70 years old. This has got to be the last, I am so hopeful. Keep on going this treatment is a breeze compared to the old . Life will be good.....
