72 week treatment- all is clear

I just wanted to let everyone know, that I just received my results from my 6mth post tx.  All is clear... the virus is undetectable.  It really hasn't sunk in as of yet, the journey was long and sometimes you feel like you can't do it.  But whatever the outcome it is well worth the effort.  Just to see our liver enzymes go down or just to know our liver had a break.  I wish everyone all the best and the hope for strength to meet the end of treatment.

Fantastic news, Sharon -- so happy for you! YOU PERSERVERED AND YOU DID IT, ONE DAY AT A TIME.  I'm at week 34/72 and tx is starting to drag. Thanks for sharing...your treatment success encourages and inspires that the goal of being free of hep c can be achieved.  God Bless you.

Thank you to everyone for such support and best wishes.  Treatment is tough to say the least, but we can only do it one day at a time.  I found nearing the 48 week mark I too had a hard time wrapping my head around the extension.  But knowing the longer I remained on treatment and virus free the greater my chance was of a SVR.  Funny enough I started to panic at week 72 thinking that I should do more just to reasure myself that I had done everything that I could.  But I was grateful to finish, and with everyones moral support and advice was able to make it through with my head and body still in tact!!!
Thanks again everyone, all the best in the future to all us past, present and future strong people.

Take care

So happy that you're at the end of your ordeal and with such GREAT results!! I'm at 40/72 and was bemoaning the fact that in another world, I'd be nearing the end of my 48. You've really spurred me on to see this thing through all the way....Pam
