Talk to your psychiatrist they should know your condition and help you stop the med safely. That is their job.

Wellbutrin can take from 5 to 8 days for the drug to be eliminated from the body.

"Based on its complex pharmacokinetics, your doctor should be recommending that you reduce your dosage by 100–150mg a day (for the more popular SR and XL forms, 75mg for the immediate release form), every week if you need to stop taking Wellbutrin, if not more slowly than that. There have been reports of more than the usual problems that come from stopping any med abruptly, or just too quickly."

Good luck.

I'm surprised that they would want you off of an AD when beginning treatment that could cause depression.  You obviously were on it for a reason, depression, so it seems very psychologically risky to take you off of your anti-depressant, start you on  drugs that cause depression in a treatment that puts you on a rollercoaster of emotions.  I would absolutely be sure that you must be off of it and do it under strict medical monitoring, during and after.  I cannot imagine being off of my Welbutrin at this point, five weeks into treatment which is a clinical trial as well.

I agree with Hector. You need to have a professional involved with your getting off of SSRIs or any other drugs that are meant to affect the brain. Did the trial people actually tell you that you needed to be off of the drug?
