That's great news!! Congrats!!! I was wondering how you were doing when I read the joke thread and you were cracking me up, you are too funny! Even on tx, that must be a good thing, of course it's a drag as I've heard it isn't a cake walk for anyone, hopefully the worst part is gone and you will do better thru the rest. God Bless
Very excited for you. Keep us informed and I hope and pray you stay cleared forever!!
Magnum
That is excellent news - I think I'm going into Pharmasett stock.

Dointime,
Thanks for the congrats and I totally understand where you are coming from. That is why I said this is early and it is not official but I just had to share as I did not expect this news. It is still early to tout this drug and I will let you all know when they unblind us all. I just know in my heart of hearts I did not get the placebo but you are 100% right about being cautiously optimistic.
Rita,
Thanks you crack me up and always make me smile buddy.
Come again,
Not only will I bring the beasts head home I will mount it on my wall !!! I am wondering though does anyone have any good recipes for dragon tongue? Isn't it some ancient custom to eat part of your slain foe? LOL
Isobella (I always loved that name),
Thanks and I will be sure to keep you updated on any other news.
Congratulations on UND!
Thanks for keeping us posted. Will look forward to hearing more good news from you.
Yay For You!!!!!
Isobella

yay!!!yay!!yay!!!
I can't stop jumping up and down for you!!!!!
Thanks for letting us know about how the trial is going and congratulations on being UND.
I am going to pospone my hopes about this drug until you are told for sure that you did get it.
I was in the Vertex Prove2 trial. When we were unblinded we found out that one guy who was in the control group (no VX) became UND on day 15 via SOC alone. He was geno 1 and had had hepC for over 30 years. So maybe this sort of thing is more common than we hear about and maybe that's because unless you are in a trial you don't usually get a PCR at day 15.
Anyway, looking forward to hearing how it pans out if you'd be kind enough to post,
Thanks,
dointime
Thanks for all of your well wishes. I really appreciate it. Now if I could just kick the SX of the peg and riba like I did the HCV I'll be really happy. I told the Trial coordinator that if I was to have imagined how I would have reacted to this good news (I got the call while I was driving) I would have pictured myself running around my car 10 times screaming out with joy. Instead I was happy but just really tired. I would have thought the the adrenaline rush alone of this great news would have lifted my fatigue, if even for just a minute. It did not though and that concerns me. Do not misunderstand me as I am very happy, ecstatic would be the word, but tired. I am waiting to see what the rest of my blood work shows. As of a week ago my RBC and the like was OK. These would seem to be symptoms of anemia right?
Congratulations on your great news! Good luck, Mike
That is the best news in a long time! Not only your UND but that we have another promising drug out there that they are working on.
Congrats DragonSlayer!
Sorry that is an excellent question and point. Although they have not unblinded the study, I would say it is safe to assume I got the trial drug and not the placebo. Considering the fact I am a male, geno 1 that has been infected for 25+ years with a high Viral load it is not likely I cleared this fast with just peg and riba. That is assumption on my part and not a fact though.
Dragon, it's wonderful news that you are UND. Your post didn't state whether or not you know if you got a placebo. Do you know?
Congrats, ken
Dragon,
THIS IS GREAT NEWS! I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU......
PEACE
RITA
