If he is experiencing symptoms then most likely his liver damage is advancing to some degree.  There has to be a clinic or something that can see him in your area?  Is there any social services type place you can contact and ask?

Living a liver healthy life is always a good idea but he might be needing more than that.  Hopefully somebody can help him.
