Hey y'all, really good answers! :)

I also was diagnosed with cirrhosis 8.5 years ago at the same time diagnosed with HCV.  4 years ago I treated and am now cured.
I improve all the time.
I hope you will go to a liver specialist and talk to him/her about treating.  The new medications are much easier than even 4 years ago.  A lot has changed in that time.

Good luck, Dee

Could maybe be colon polops or hemorrhoids.

Are you looking into getting the new hep c treatments that are now curing most people?

Have you been evaluated for extent of liver damage with a liver biopsy or the less invasive fibroscan? Only about 20% of people infected with hep c over 20 years will develop liver cirrhosis and even with liver cirrhosis you can still live a full life especially if you get treated and cured of hep c.

I had hep c for 37 years and was diagnosed with cirrhosis 8.5 years ago. I was cured of hep c last year and am still going strong

Good luck
Lynn

Means you need to see a doctor and find out the cause.

Blood in the bowel movement usually signifies a problem in your digestive tract.  Hopefully your doctor finds out what the problem is, may not be that serious or it could be very serious.  It could be a peptic ulcer or it could be more serious and represent polyps and could even be cancerous.  Peptic ulcers are usually caused by Helicobacter pylori, see link below.  It could also be a couple other items such as, tearing of anal tissue or Colitis.  Please, advocate for yourself and make sure your doctor is doing everything he can for you.  Sometimes when patients with HepC, go to doctors they don't get any respect, I've been there and done that.  Push your doctor every way you can to get to the bottom of this.  good luck
