Sorry your feeling so low, it's a rough journey.
How many shots in are you? Is this the 1st ???
It sounds like you may need help in this, AD's or something, please discuss with your Dr. and do share this site with your spouse, explain what it may or may not be like, that these drugs can change 'you' a lot while on them. You sound pretty rough..PLEASE get help with this. As sfbaygirl said, these thoughts can be dangerous for you, don't hesitate to get help now!
Wish you well, better days, LL
Yes, my husband came here several times to talk to my support group. Please get some help. Depression is a definate symptom of tx. My Dr. wouldn't give me the tx drugs without being on an anti depressant. Hope you are feeling better soon. Call your dr. on Monday! If you are feeling suicidal at all, go to the ER! I have done this before.

Tell your wife to come here if she wants. We've had plenty of spouses asking questions.
jm is right. Depression is a side effect of tx. Antidepressents have helped many of us make it through. You both need to understand this is just a side effect!!!!!
You're not alone in feeling down on these drugs, and they have been known to foster suicidal thoughts, but you should know that this is not the norm.
Best thing is to discuss these thoughts with your medical team right away. Call your doctor as there should be someone on call over the weekend.
Your medical team may want to monitor you more closely and/or put you on anti-depressant drugs which have helped many here get through the emotional part of treatment. There's no reason for you to have to suffer through these feelings as they often can get worse as treatment progresses.
If you can't reach your doctor, then have your wife drive you to the ER. Many of us have had to go to the ER during treatment for any number of reasons. Needless to say, you should not be alone during this period and hopefully your wife is home to stay with you.
Hope you start feeling better soon.
