Do thseGilead Trial meds require food to absorb?

Do you have to take meds. (ribv,5885,9451)  with food?  How much food?  Is it for obsorption of meds or to alleviate nausea and sides?  I have to take this RBV 10-12 hours a part.  I am not used to eating at 7 in the morning and 7 at night.  But to take the RBV any later at night was not recommended because of the 'hebe gebes' it can cause.  Can I take it at those times (7 & 7) with just a minimal amount of food?  And eat my reg. time at 10 and 8:30?  Or do I need a whole meal of food to take them?  Last time I did TX, I just took them with tbs. of almond butter, tbs. yogurt and 1/2 banana in am and pm with meds.  Does anyone know the answer????  I don't want to screw up here right off the bat.  Started TX yesterday, all meds. and Peg. shot too.  Flu like night, little headache.....but I'm good.  Thanks everyone.  Spunky1

My Gilead pill bottles say take with food. It doesn't say how much, therefore I figure they don't know how much. If they did, it would say on the bottle.
On my day 1 dosing at the office they gave me a small bag of Cheez-Its to eat.
Don't sweat the small stuff too much.

hmmm I know that with the incivek you have to eat 20 grams of fat thirty minutes before you take the pills. It is a lot of food, Im glad im through with that. I ate breakfast at 6:30 and took pills at 7.....then at 1:30 another 20 grams of fat and then pills at 2. then again at 9:30 more fat and pills at 10 if it is like incivek it is very fattening but u gotta do it, or the meds won't work.
