I have a physical job and worked all through my 48 weeks and also took procrit. (Still am on the stuff)
I have no choice but too push myself during work but I suggest listening to your body and don't push it. A little excercise is better than none. If you are having a good day with lots of energy and you over do--you will feel it the next few days.

I'm bumping this up because I'm curious what others have experienced too! Thanks JD for sharing your input! I too, exercised the first month, had a HUGE hemo drop 14.3-11.0 in a week and a half, and since have been trying to recover (last 10 weeks). I finally feel okay and want to exercise again too :) I like the swimming idea!
No problem exercising on Procrit. The only limitation I encountered is no scuba diving because of the danger of clots. Swimming is very good, however. No gravity to fight and support for my joints, resistance from the water and no sweating. Good luck.
