How can I get enrolled in an Albuferon testing group?

How can I get enrolled in an Albuferon testing group? I have HEP C genotype 1, I did not tolerate interferon and I hope albuferon will help me.

Any information is of great support.

I just finished txing in that trial. I drew the SOC (standard of care) in it, not the Albuferon. To my understanding, Phase 3 is done taking new people, but not sure. I'll e-mail my NP and ask for you, post back here when she answers.

Also, they've had to do a lot of adjusting with the Albuferon, lung problems, others and sides from the drugs are comparible. Albuferon IS interferon, BTW. Moleculed to albumen for longer half life.

Start Here:

Although this phase 2 trial seems to have been completed, maybe you can do some sleuthing by calling Human Genome to get some hints about phase 3.

From time to time you should visit   clinicaltrials.gov   Enter some search criteria like 'hepatis, miami' (for example) and see what's out there.

Interferon is nasty stuff for many people, were you removed from it for medical reasons (severe adverse reaction) or because of its usual unpleaseantness?
