Sad thing is the Telapravir gave a real nasty rash, in the hospital 2 days and they tried to say was not related.
There are more trials every day that want people who previously failed tx. Granted, not as many as naive, but they seem to be increasing.
Hi y'all, that's the pitts toughluck but you're not alone at all. I'm surprised you weren't able to get in a follow-up trial. I will have trouble finding another trial myself cause I was in the boceprevir trial in 11/08 but I had many issues and I stopped. I just started a 3yr follow up trial, but I'm not on tx I am just in a study.
I haven't been on this forum for a long time and I was under the impression that you (trinity4) cleared sorry to hear you didn't as I remember you put up one of the most strenuous amazing fights ever!!.
Thanks for the support, I don't know whether to see how long it takes for the dragon to kill me or try again.
It does s-u-c-k big time and thanks for giving it a go. I also respect those who have done trials. Those numbers show there is no way most of us can treat this beast without robust doses inf & riba. Some have attained SVR with dose reductions but their immune system must have been extremely sensitive to the inf and riba even at reduced dosage.
When my turn comes I know I'm going need every big gun available. Quite sure I have a nasty strain of HCV, much like my disposition. :)

That sux, but you and everyone else who labrats this stuff has my admiration and thanks. Will you be able to try Boceprevir if/when or did treating with Tele' give you a resistance that PI as well?
