It's official - SVR!!!

Got the call today and I made it.  For those that were not around while I was treating - Gilead trial with INF, Riba, and the possibility of two DAA's (won't know for sure until the study is over).  Treated for 24 weeks.  Me - Geno 1a, CT, starting VL of 2.3 mil., treatment naive.  Can't believe it's over.

Congratulations!  SVR!  What wonderful words to hear.  So happy for you.  Please keep us posted and let us know what, if any, DAAs were added to your cocktail.

Thanks everyone, for the congrats.  It has been an emotional day needless to say.  Besides getting cured myself, I hope that my participation in the trial plays some small part in helping others get to the same point.  This forum was invaluable to me and it meant so much to find others in the same trial going through the same things I did. I know that someday there will be a way everyone reaches SVR (unless we all go on Dec. 21, 2012, in which case, losing my hair was for naught).
