negligent Dr.

The Dr. who just diagnosed me stage 4 is the head of one of the hep c clinics for Kaiser Permanente. I have been under his care for at least 8 years and have all but begged him to let me be treated. Now that I am stage 4 he has no choice. The new hep c medicine is very costly and last year when it came out I was told it was only for advance cases. Prior to that I was told to wait year after year for the new medicine. I was only stage 2 !! I had all but begged to start interferon but the Dr. said it was to hard and I had bouts with depression. The depression brought on by the disease itself !! I am very pissed off and want to maybe talk to a lawyer. What are some thoughts or advice?

You have seriously been misled.
I hate to say this but I've heard horrible things about Kaiser, not from everyone but from many.
If you can, go to another doctor.

And yes, go to a lawyer and bring any and all documentation you have with you.

If you can prove it, I would say do it.
