Long term effects of Peg/intron

I started treatment foe Hep C in 1996.  Because I gave birth and infected my baby I tried treatment SEVEN (7) times.  Full term of treatment on all attempts, from 6 months to 18 months.  I was trying to find a cure for my baby. Needless to say I still have the virus, gen A.  I am now having a vast amount of medical problems from bone degeration to memory loss, lack of concentration and chronic fatigue etc..etc..    My question is,if anyone knows, what are the long term effects of the treatments?  Can any of the medical problems I have now be attributed to the Hep C treatments?  When I started the treatments I was told that there were no studies on the long term effects, has any research been done in this area and can I get a straight and honest answer, not some blog or compaint or advertisement.  Just need to know!!!!!

Sorry to hear your feeling poorly.
Maybe try typing search words in the search feature you can read about other people coping with long term effects. Many people here have treated more than once.

Good luck
