Hello My Friend:

This is from Debbie.  Pull up the website above, and you will find a list of numerous hepatologists in the Nashville, TN area.  Start calling some of these doctors and try to see one as soon as you can.  If the doctor (hepatologist) is associated with a medical school, that may mean that her or she is also involved with research and may be more up to date with recent medical information and procedures than others.  This is not carved in stone because there are great physicians out there who are not involved with universities.

I'll talk to you later and I hope you are feeling okay.

Hang in there -- you are the best!

Debbie

Hello Angel I was wondering if I was going to hear from you today. Thank you so much. I was worried. I will look at sight you sent. I did send you my e mail address if you ever want to message me there. I can call you in the future if you need me also. Thank you so much

You might want to call into GI Specialists of North Georgia.  Dr Sheikh is my Hepa *he's excellent), but they might be able to refer you to someone closer to Nashville.  Also check www.clinicaltrials.gov.  Under some of the recruiting trials for HCV, you can find contact info for medical centers and physicians in your area.  Hope that helps.  Good luck!
