Well, you're in Canada as am I. My first PCR after finally seeing the GI after waiting 10 months to see him took another two months to get in to see him for the results of that. Sounds like you're getting an appointment when the doctor has space in his schedule and not based on the outcome of the biopsy. The three months sounds about right unfortunately in our Canadian healthcare system. The biopsy results will probably be in long before you get the appointment. I would call and ask to be notified when the biopsy results come in - or follow up yourself until they've arrived - and that you'd like a copy of the results. My biopsy results took 2-3 weeks at most, if I recall. Hope this helps.

Usually once the biopsy gets done they are in kind of a rush to get going. Don't forget that you have patients rights and deserve a copy of every lab and test. I don't want to get your hopes up that the far-away appointment means that the biopsy results were good, but who knows. Might just be a dumb nurse who can't connect the dots.. Call and leave a message that you need the doctor to call you with the biopsy results.
they should have the results within 10 days. Call and say you would like a copy of the results, you can pick them up, fax them or mail them. They are your test results and you have every right to them. They have to give them to you by law!
Had my Biopsy on a Thurs. got my results the following Wed. out of a scale of 4 I scored 2 on each of the criteria, progression of the disease and inflammation. Three months seems like a such long time, espesially when you are waiting for tx!
