can i catch it

some one bit me that has hep.c can i catch it??

Yes I completely agree much more likely you'll get very ill from an infection rathe than HCV.  You should go to the doctors and have them look at it.

Elpaso lady has good advice but I would also add that a bite wound is so filthy and I would be more worried about a bacterial infection from it than anything.  My son almost died from an infected head wound received in a soccer game where another guy's teeth ended up in his forehead.

Hep C is a blood borne disease which means that it is contagious when infected blood comes in contact with your blood. If the person that bit you was bleeding in the mouth and the bite punctured your skin and their blood made contact with your open wound, then it is possible.  If that did not happen, then i would not worry.
I gave birth not knowing that i had Hep C, and my child  ( who is now 18)  does not have it.
