I am in a trial and wanted to move back from Friday PM to the AM or Thursday PM because of the sx patterns I had experienced up to that time. The doc said start with the 12 hour back up and then we would decide on whether to bump it back another 12 hours, which I wound up not doing because it didn't seem to offer any more advantage.

Kinda in the same boat as your friend is in, i was forced to start tx on mondays. But because i'm in a trial i am forced to stay this way. That said if it wasn't for the trial my hepo said he would be ok with either going back a day each week or even going every 5 days till i reached friday. Always best for your friend to check with the doctor.

I don't have a study. Only that Peg's life is no greater than a week, actually think I read it's closer to 6 days. I also doubled-dose some so my expereince is that more-than-normal Peg will not kill, maybe a little rough for a couple days. Being a G1 and und at 4, certainly don't want to risk that.
I came from the south and took an East off 95 onto 520, and then east some more. Had I gotten an earlier start, would have picked up my son at UCF and then headed to the launch. Yeah, traffic was bad and I was listening to radio traffic reports, 50 was a parking lot. Spacecoast lives near there and gave me some good tips. Next time, I'll get an earlier start for a night launch - maybe make a day of it.
Maybe someone else has better info than my theory.
While I don’t have any formal material to substantiate this, most doctors seem to agree that moving shot day *backwards* one day per week is the safest way to accomplish this. For instance, to move from Wednesday to Friday, she might want to do her next injection to Tuesday, then the following one to Monday, etc, until she reaches Friday again. That will take several weeks; but she’ll be assured she doesn’t reduce serum concentration at this critical time in treatment.
However, her doctor might feel this is unnecessary, and give her the go ahead to make the transition in one move. Another resource might be to call the manufactures nurse hot line; they have educating RN’s available 24-7 to help with questions like this. Sorry I can’t provide a solid link to this question; perhaps someone else will step in.
Best to you—

Thanks for your quick response. You wouldn't by chance have a link would you???? I saw a post the other day you were trying to make it to see the shuttle, did you make it? The reason I ask I live in Orlando and traffic was so horrible down Hwy 50.
Thanks again
Can back up a few days at a time. Wednesday this week, Monday next week, Friday the following. Should not go more than a week without Peg. The much easier, shot on Wednesaday and the next two days later on Friday and then stay on Fridays.
