Question for HR

I wanted to ask if it is possible to have a fibroscan done by you. If I am willing to come to you would you consider doing one. I am a 48 year old female genotype 1, I treated for 48 weeks was undetected but at my 6 mos. post treatment it was back. Viral load 737,000. I recently had a fibrosure test which came back 0.283 all other blood work was normal except platlets were a little lower than normal. My hepatoligist at Penn knows that I am deathly afraid to have a biopsy he has said that he is comfortable doing a repeat of blood work in 6 mos. I know he wishes I would have the biopsy just to be sure that the damage is as minor as the test are saying. I cannot even go to the dentist without being gased first I don't know how I would get thru a biopsy. I have tried to contact some of the other hospitals that are doing the scan and they will all take me if I agree to a biopsy within a couple months of the test. Which is what I am trying to avoid. Can you help me.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
For most patients a biopsy is much less of a problem compared to  what they envision. But I will perform the fibroscan, if you can come to LA. Currently preparing for a Hepatitismeeting in Whakatane,  New Zealand, back second week of march, for a short time, then again in April. If you contact Foreseegood, she will give you my e-mail. Then we can work out the timing.
