i asked my doc for the same thing when i was responding
slowly and he said no at first but by the next meet he approved it.
by then i had decided that i didnt want to take the extra risk of inf overdose
and just went for a riba overdose only. and he said no to that at first as well but soon afterward he approved that too. considering your profile, the
inf overdose might be justified and worth it. talk him into it.
he will approve it when he sees you are set on it. in the pecking order, i see
riba as the first line of greater attack so make sure and do that
along with the the inf overdose. a shot every five 5 days is only a 70% overdose
and based on your profile i would guess that you have a good chance
of tolerating it and would probably be a good bet. double dosing has been tolerated by some but it seems that it has brought a few permanent problems with it here and there. if it goes against you can always back off. i definately
would recommend this strategy at least until you are undetectible.
just my personal opinion. towards the end of treatment is when all this catches up to you and once again at that point you could back off.
Haven't seen that one before. It's very compelling and not hard to guess which were the likely svr's in the bunch. Hope you continue to do well. Thanks for the congrats. One less thing, you know.
It's your life and you gotta do what you gotta do! I did double four weeks and then every five days until week 12, and since I wasn't hurting bad enough I did 1600 riba (21 mg/kg) during part of that 12 weeks!!!!!!!!! I'm still going so I can't tell you if it will work for svr!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on the svr FL/GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you are determined to go off the reservation, you should give thought to a single full dose every five days or double it one day a week. I'd lean toward the later. Now the obligatory: but check with your doctor.
