best of luck to you - i am month 3 of 6 pegasys/copegus - GT 2b - my experience, which may not be yours is as follows:
first few weeks, just a few nights battling a fever & aches but an overall feeling of exhaustion (tylenol PM worked great for the fever & aches)
after week 8 - MAJOR thrush (sore throat, raw tongue) and it has been returning each week (use biotene mouthwash and a mouthwash i mixed of childrens bendryl/malox) which numbs the sore mouth
DON"T PANIC on weird SX - check this site often, it helped me BIG TIME
luckily, after just the first month - the virus is gone but that might depend on your GT
GOOD LUCK - stay calm & check this site for any questions - it PRICELESS !!!
A heating blanket can make it worse. I learned this straight from the doctor when asking him about other patients experience.
Today I will fish I am not having anymore side effects other than first night.
Lucky one one day 3
Paula wind at your sails girl and baton down the hatches to getting better.
I am a 3. Lunch? Are you coming to Denver or do I have to fly out to Cali?
I am really not all that nauseas. Last night was more of a flu-like issue. I just was not expecting ANY sides as of yet so I was just caught off guard. Now i know more what to expect I can be more prepared. Today, very tired. I made myself get up this morning and I went to the Goodwill and then a short nap. As I said, I now know what to expect so I will be armed with an electric blanket for sure.
nausea meds like phenergan and the other one that melts under your tongue, somebody help me with that one because the name escapes me at the moment, can be very helpful too as your treatment progresses.
