Does your wife have the option of standard treatment or is it unaffordable? Based on my knowledge and experience, this herbal formula will not help with the HCV. I am not familiar with all of the ingredients in the compound so I don't know if some will hurt.

If she cannot afford treatment at this time, the best thing for her to do is live a very healthy lifestyle – to maintain a normal weight, exercise regularly, avoid alcohol, and eat a balanced diet containing vegetables and whole grains. That is probably more important than this herbal remedy.

She should also try to have liver biopsies every four or five years to monitor the progress of liver damage. That will tell you when it is necessary to treat. In approximately four years there will be treatments that are less expensive and more successful.

Good luck!

Also, people need to be extremely careful when taking any mix of herbs and supplements and make sure that they do not raise the liver enzymes, as we have seen happen here sometimes even tripling the original amounts - they can do more DAMAGE than good.

As there is only one real cure I too wonder if she has standard treatment options available?  Has she had a liver biopsy done?

Good luck.

Just wanted to add shortly that she is pregnant. I would be careful with herbs, especially during pregnancy. I would suggest that the vitamins her doctor gave her are sufficient and that she should not take these herbs, also after giving birth, as they can go through to the breast milk.

At the moment, I think it would be best to just continue to live healthy and wait to treat when the baby is older.

Btw, I am usually very much pro herbs, natural medicine, super foods etc. Herbs are very potent and have to be chosen carefully. One also has to make sure that they come from good organic sources, as contaminated herbs can cause a lot of damage, due to the contamination.

Thanks for the write up and suggestion. We are encouraged again...  and believe that whatever the reason this time to concentrate on her pregnancy.  The best way, as you all always suggest, to have healthy life first...

For Standard treatment..we have to risk with everything we have got... wishing all the best..if relapsed, we can't be then..

She hasn't done her liver biopsy yet... In fact, not available in our country. Have to go oversea for biopsy.  Now I have checked her blood test, urine, liver ezyme and Gynotype and VL again.. ( I remember Marica suggested us not to take because cost consideration... Please forgive us marica... as she keep asking..I have done it :D).

And understand that Liver biopsy is only way to see 100% actuate liver damage.  Any other check up (please name here so that we can request the lab...) to estimate her liver damage level..

Thanks you all..

Thanks Marcia... for the comment :D

At first I was just enjoying my life. From the first day we know that she has contracted with this, I am taking care of her as much as I can and doing everything I can... I was just reading the post and comments on as some one said that "He thankful". Of course, all cannot agree as they suffered a lot.

My opinion on life is (somehow agree with you), life is all about choices. We, of course, even don't want to hear about these terrible diseases.  But once we have come to face it, we only have two choices, (1) always unhappy about what we are facing (2) trying our best, face it and be happy and try to be at positive side..

I couldn't sleep about one and half month for my wife. I know a person who has contracted will suffer most and we chosen to face with encouragement.

This forum is always encouraging and we very much thankful for all in here. We cannot imaging if we didn't come across with this forum...

Thank you all for the support and encouragement...
We will definitely let you know once we got all lab results...
