Trials

ok i have a good question...

i was on a trial for virimadine so i was treated with that and interfuron... would i be eligible for any of the new trials for non-responders  ?  im guessing no because i have absolutely no results from this trial they told me NOTHING except after 6 months it wasnt working and they stoped it...  i could try and get on a new trial for treatment naive and i guess i could just lie and say i never treated... and i never did not really not with standard TX (riba & interfuron)

Hi! My husband is on his second full trial (two different drug studies altogether) after doing regular peg/riba for one round and a year and a half of maintenance therapy, so yes it can be done. Every trial has very exact requirements of the study group. The studies are written with specifics, naive, non responders, breakthrough,.peg/riba only ..etc.
you shouldn't have a problem finding another study. Good luck

Just being in a prior trial does not always exclude you in future trials, A couple im looking at has their exclusion criteria as.....Treatment with any investigational drug within 30 days of the randomization visit. But you would need to get your previous results.... Wishing you the best
