google it, its old school medicine developed quite a few years ago and very strong.
i pretty sure that variations of it are still used for multiple schlerosis, skin cancer, and leukemia.
I think finally I am feeling better. Good days and bad, hoping my CBCs are finally settling.
Yes, on the thick blood, my blood has tear drop cells, apparently it happens when you use procrit/neupogen, an artificial cell builder. So you were right!
I can't thank you enough cruel, for your direction and helping me calm down!
Drang, It is actually called Consensus Infergen.
It is not naturaly produced in the body as other inteferons.
here is a link
http://www.hivandhepatitis.com/hep_c/treatment/infergen.html
Infergen is Consensus Interferon. It's a non-pegalayted shot so you have to take it every day. It's given to people who have not responded well to regular interferon.
As far as I know it's still 6 months post treatment is SVR. One of the happiest days I ever had!
What does infergen contain? It is not available with the same name in my country.
kudos to the infergen warriors. did you hit a smooth section of the ride yet?
i hope so.
did you ever get to the bottom of the thick blood issue?
what do the docs say about it?
That is good news! I am also on infergen and they are talking going 72 weeks with me.
It is a roller coaster cruel!
SVR is the best news you can get!
Deb
so youre still hangin in there on the infergen roller coaster huh?
i assume you are going for at least 48 weeks of treatment
i assume youve been undetectable for a while now.
svr means cured. you cant really tell that until several months after youre
finished the medicine.
Don't you mean 24 weeks post treatment?
SVR is a sustained viral response. Many doctors now consider SVR to mean 12 weeks post treatment and still undetected.
Hopefully no more agony for you and a long and healthy life as a result of your treatment.
Take care,
Eric
