going on week 3 of peglntron
My husband is going on week 3 of peglntron and he doesn't have hemorrhoids but his anal is bleeding and he is in pain down there he feels like he's popping acid which makes him want to pas out every time he has a bowel movement. Has anyone had this problem, and what can he do to help or prevent this from continuing?
Is he on triple tx?
If so, make sure he is eating the 20gms of fat as it can be the telaprevir leaking through his system that is causing the acid like sensation.

The suppository was Hydrocortisone AC. The probiotic I buy at GNC (Ultra 50 billion CFU's Probiotic Complex). Google probiotic.
He doesn't have hard stool. Was the suppositories for constipation? What is probiotic? He doesn't ask his doctor so I try to get info before I call her.
Sorry this is happening. It is one of the unfortunate side effects of Incivek. I would call the doctor & see if what he can do.
