Geo.   Please don't be frightened as weight loss for many on Tx is common.  Our metabolism is in hyper mode, and our weight issues are an offshute of this experience.  Also I might add that consuming large amounts of water does cause weight loss, and that is why when dieting mega amounts of water are recommended.   You have considerably upped your water intake, and its a known fact that every 8 oz glass of cold water that you drink burns 25 calories.
I'm going on 5 months post Tx, and still holding steady even tho I'm eating more.  When you take certain drugs that change the characteristics of your metabolism your set point can change.  Set point is a predetermined # that the body tends to gravitate to, and where you are in your comfort zone.  We cannot alter this as individuals.  Certain meds change our biologic chemistry, and our set point.  So, what was normal weight for you before, may be different in the future.  This is a normal physiologic experience for most.
Another thing to consider is that when our livers function better we also retain less fluid.  You should be seeing less muscle wasting as well, with better body composition and more muscular definition.
I would think that when you get your results tommorrow, that you should be
UND at 12SVR because of the shift in your weight.
Good luck and please don't worry
...Kim

I was very bloated with hep c. Now that I don't have hep c (well, since my last viral load a week ago, and I feel like that sum*** dragon is gone)
I'm losing water weight that I believe went with my having hep c, my bloat is gone in my face and since I've been undetected I've lost about 8 pounds (that I needed to lose) still eating exactly the same. While I do believe the meds can do many various things, just wanted to throw this in there. My muscle definement is coming back and it's not like I'm exercising more, I'm exercising less while I'm withdrawing from the drugs a little, even my doc said he thought I lost water weight. So yes, of course it could be metabolism issues (the docs sure don't know for sure, and this does play out differently from person to person) I think this might be an issue for some, not all.

I treated with Incivek, Interferon, and Ribavirin. I lost a lot of weight during 48 weeks of treatment and I continued losing weight for the 4 months following treatment. By the 5th month post treatment I started to gain a little and I slowly put back on some of the weight I had lost. I lost a total of 70 pounds during the 48 weeks of treatment and the 4 months following treatment. You may start gaining after 3-4 months post treatment.

Wishing you SVR.

yes I lost a lot of weight about 3months post treatment down to 9stone  when I'm usually 10stone and uk size 10-it took a very long time to put it back on but I still have to watch it's not dropping again.I think we all got a bit anorexic on that bloody regime, not eating properly altho I kept my weight up til post treatment.

I've noticed weight loss also since ending treatment, without a change in diet. Have not read this anywhere, but do believe these strong meds redirect metabolism to some degree. Checked my body mass ratio, and that has decreased.     Am in the fitness industry, and am in touch with my body and the reactions of treatment.  Do think the Ribavirin caused a speed up of the metabolic rate, as well as altering the endocrine system.  Don't know if this is temporary, but do believe it is.  The Riba alone takes 6 months to get out of your system, so feel it will normalize after that.    Did not take interferon so don't know if that also  could cause the same reaction.
Be well.     ...Kim
