hcv guidelines- when-and-whom-initiate-hcv-therapy

Assessment of viral response, including documentation of SVR, requires use of US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved quantitative or qualitative nucleic acid test (NAT) with a detection level of 25 IU/mL or lower.

lots of good stuff here about the new treatments. Read the part where it says the liver, portal vein and spleen have reduced inflammation after treatment thus extending one's life and quality of living.

We get so panicky over every little symptom of tx. We are quite a bunch. I try to make a joke out of it. I tell my cat "I'm gritting my teeth. Is it from the medicine? I never gritted my teeth before" LOL Laugh or cry. It's that bad.
