"I doubt if my depression can cause me be so impotent."
You would be surprised what depression can cause. You are very young and regardless of the hepc, you should not be experiencing sexual dysfunction. I really think knowing you have hepc has affected you psychologically which in turn has affected you physcially.
I'll bet money had you not found out your hepc status you would not be experiencing ED right now.
As info, if you are experiencing depression, one of the side effects from the anti-depressants is sexual dysfunction.
I doubt if my depression can cause me be so impotent.I think its becouse the hepatit.I find other guys who beccame impotent ,and have hepatitis c .
Agreed that there's nothing funny about ED. Well actually there probably is, which explains why Viagra found it's way into so many comic routines in its early days, But we'll set that aside and pretend this isn't a tittlilating topic.
Please note that the soft attempts at humor in this thread were directed to plays on words, not to the situation of the flag that won't run up the pole. Still, it's a delicate subject and I probably should have been more sensitive before spouting off.
i just wonder, if i cure the hepatitis, will my libido come back
It certainly can. If you need validation you can google the subject. Some of the ED medications are effective though (viagra, levitra, cialis). Imo there is nothing humorous about this query or its manifestation. It can be one of the "quality of life" curses of Hep C
yeah, but we all look remarkably the same in the eyes of proctologists. It's how many parking spaces you take up when parking your new car that should clear that up.
personaly i dont have any problems, i am sorry you are suffering it must be hard for you, or not if you know what i mean..
I found it made me very impotent. So much so, that I hired a press secretary and I bought a new car. But at the proctologist - I'm still treated like just another a-hole.
In a prior post you said you've had hep C for 7 months. Personally, I think that's too so for a lot of hep C symptoms to come to a head, so to speak. There are many. many people who go through life for 20 years or more not having any type of obvious effects from the disease. There are many things that can cause some of the things you describe. Just can't blame everything on Hep C. Have to talked to a doctor or a CSW for advice?
