post tx recovery theory

Having just completed peg/rib tx 2 weeks now, I've developed a side effect recovery theory based on study models and basic biology and was wondering if others experiences come close or differ much. RBC's- hemoglobin recovery took 8  weeks in one study to reach pre treatment levels. In that rib attaches permanently to rbc's with additional lodging in other areas (mainly liver and sex organs) and that an rbc off treatment lifespan is about 90-120 days (down to 65 on tx)....I figure the rib side effects will not begin diminish until the new unaffected rbc's completely attach and dislodge the extra reservoir of rib...so 100% rbc's should have rib attachment till that occurs (1 month?) and then the total level will drop to zero over the next 120 days. So I'm looking at the immediate reduction of side effects (prickly heat to the max) due to no longer taking it (about 25% relief the first week..no improvement this week) then 3 weeks of no improvement, then 4 months to complete resolution.
WBC's are a different matter. The study slope showed a 75% recovery over the first 8 weeks but then a near flat slope out to a year which though finally reaching the  mid-normal lab values (Neut & Lymph), they never did quite reach prior tx levels. So, anticipating a 90 to 95% recovery in 'brain fog' but not complete resolution. Thoughts?

You never no how anyone individual will come out I guess. 4 weeks post treatment now and getting better daily(light working out and a little yard work)....then  2 days of misery (autoimmune response?) to a pulled muscle. Every step sent lightning from my shoulder to my spine. Hurt to breath (chest wall muscles very painful)  and when I coughed or sneezed it brought me to the ground...felt like my bones were breaking. Now 4 days later just a little soreness but better than yesterday. Strangest damn thing..I sure hope it doesn't happen again. Will slow my recovery roll to help keep it off my back.

I am 2 months post treatment, my brain still feels like sludge and some days my thought processes are a joke. Physically i feel much better, but my thinking is so foggy that I have trouble just finishing a sentence. However I do feel 90% better than being on Tx. Hgb kind of dropped a little but  My Doc says side affects could last up to 6 months so no panics here and staying positive.

I meant 1 & 1/2 % every few (4) weeks.

Wow, well these slopes were based on studies of 100 and 500 if memory serves me, so individual dips and peeks wouldn't be shown. The WBC's were ANC 80% in 8 weeks and ALC 50% in 8 weeks and then about 1% for a few weeks then 1/2%/wk for each. Your story is a bit concerning, what does your physician say? ANC slopes were found on 'HCV Advocate'.

That is interesting.
I have been considering posting a question along this line.

In my case all the values on the CBC were rebounding. My RBC & Hgb kind of dropped a little but my WBC is not showing anywhere near a 75% recovery. In fact my WBC & ANC have been dropping to values I had during treatment and I am 15 weeks EOT
